Lucio and Cristina Stanisci
Lucio was born in Rome, Italy, in 1966 and accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior at age 24, in November 1990, after a long period of personal crises. He was baptized in 1993 in the “Berea” Independent Gospel Church of Rome known as “the Church of Via Britannia,” founded and pastured by William Standridge.
Growing under Pastor Standridge’s teaching he started serving in the church, and through evangelism; in 1994 the Lord called him for a period of further Biblical training. He first attended the “School of Christian Living" (SVC) for ten intensive weeks in 1994. In 1996 he started attending the “Istituto Biblico Evangelico Italiano” (IBEI) where he graduated in 1999. Lucio partnered with Dr. John MacArthur to make a powerful and honest video about his testimony and the need in Italy for strong Bible exposition.
From 1999 to July 2005 he served full time in the “Berea” church in Rome as youth pastor, pastor of outreach ministry, as well as providing discipleship and Biblical counseling. He also taught and preached regularly in the church. From 2003 to 2005 he served as one of the elders of the church in Rome and from 2001 to 2005 he wrote for the singles magazine “Punti Fermi.”

In 2005 he became a missionary with Aurora Mission. Since August 2005 he has been enrolled at The Master’s Seminary in California, where he is completing his Masters of Divinity program. After completing his studies (Lord willing in the summer of 2009) he will be going back to Italy to continue to serve in the church in Rome and will be involved in the Ministry of the Italian Theological Academy. Lucio has been married to Cristina since August 1998. They have three children, Rebecca, Davide, and Mattia. Lucio and Cristina have also been involved for many years in the ministry at the Institute of Isola del Gran Sasso (IBEIsola) by teaching, preaching, and helping out with the camps and conferences for children and youth.
Lucio is now leading an in-home Bible study, as well as, a Bible study at Grace Community Church for Italians living in California!
