Johnny and Alexandra Gravino
Johnny was born in Frankfurt, Germany in 1974 to Italian parents from southern Italy (they were temporarily working in Germany). At the age of 2, after a short stay in Rome, the family moved to Montreal, Canada where Johnny was raised. He graduated from McGill University in Montreal in 1999 with an M.A. in political science.
Shortly thereafter he became a Christian (at the age of 25) and moved back to Rome, Italy where he worked for the Canadian Embassy as an immigration clerk. While in Rome he attended Chiesa Berea di Roma (or Via Britannia) pastured by (Aurora Missionary) Bill Standridge. While attending and serving there he met his wife, Alexandra. They were married in February of 2002.
In 2004, with the approval of the elders and church, they moved to California to begin theological training at The Master's Seminary with the goal of returning to serve the Lord in full-time ministry in Italy. Johnny is currently in his final year. His goal is to teach and preach God's Word expositionally and train Italian church leaders to do the same.
Their family was enlarged in February of 2006 with the birth of their son, Samuele and again in January of 2008 with their daughter Maddalena.
Alexandra was born in Austria in 1970. She became a Christian in her early 20's while living in Austria. She then moved to Rome, Italy to work at the Austrian Embassy in Rome. While in Rome she also attended Chiesa Berea di Roma (or Via Britannia, pastured by Bill Standridge). Now Alexandria is the wife of Johnny and fulll-time mom of their son, Samuele and daughter, Maddalena.
